RECIPIENT
Since our establishment in 1982, we, the Japan Relief Clothing Center, have provided many items of clothing to support the socially vulnerable, such as the poor, social minorities, natural disasters, refugees and IDPs. All these clothes are donated with goodwill by the people of Japan who understand and support our work. Over the past 42 years, we have shipped 24,608 kilotons of clothing to 92 countries.
In order to carry out a clothing relief operation, an equal partner is needed to distribute the clothing to the appropriate beneficiaries. The partner must officially import the goods, claim tax breaks where possible, and store the stock until it is actually distributed. The partner will also need to cover the associated costs.
If you need help with clothing, please contact us.
